Vehicle Detail
If you have been looking for a completely unique custom truck, this is the one! There are too many items to list but the basic components are a `73 El Camino body mounted on a shortened `84 Blazer frame and drive train. Virtually every component in the car is either new or rebuilt. The body is painted PPG 9700 Diamond Black with a dark grey all leather interior. The body is straight as an arrow. The bed and tailgate are diamond plated and Rhino lined for durability. All new glass and bumpers round out the exterior. There is 35 inch Mickey Thompson Baja MTX tires mounted on Mickey Thompson Classic aluminum rims with matching spare in bed. Original headlights were replaced with halogen. The truck has been driven less than 10k miles since completion. The drive train is all matching components from a `84 Chevy Blazer. The front and rear axels were completely refurbished with all new bearings, seals, steering components, Warn hubs, and new 373 gearing. The tachometer reads about 2000 RPMs at 70 MPH. It has disc bakes in front, drums in the rear and new master cylinder. All of the brake lines have been replaced. There is a custom 25 gallon fuel tank with filter mounted underneath and the gas filler door is mounted on the inside of the bed area to keep the body streamlined. Double Rancho shocks are up front and single Rancho shocks are in back. Everything under the hood begins with a 350 short block, automatic factory transmission, Edelbrock Performer intake, Holley 650 carburetor, billet timing cover, MSD ignition components, chrome oil pan, aluminum water pump, polished aluminum alternator, K & N filter, aluminum rocker covers and steering box. Complete Vintage hot rod air is installed with stainless steel lines. Flow Tech ceramic headers attached to Hooker side pipes comprises the exhaust system. The interior is designed for comfort beginning with a new dash, leather electric/memory bucket seats with matching center console. The shifter is a B & M Quicksilver. The car has a complete compliment of Autometer and VDO gauges. The sound system begins with a Kenwood AM/FM/CD/MP3 head unit with 4 Boston Acoustic speakers, a JL Audio base speaker and power amplifier. The entire interior was dynomated for acoustics. Colorado Custom steering wheel, electric door locks and one key entry round out the highlights of the interior. The final component is parts. A wide array of hard-to-find parts comes with the car. Parts include new front and rear bumpers, many trim pieces, extra electric door lock sender, front headlight bezels, front grill just to name a few. Car is titled as a 1973 Chevrolet Pickup Truck.
