The “term no expense spared” does not even begin to explain the amount of customization, options, bells and whistles and gadgets that were put into this car during the build. From hydraulic suspension to fully custom interior to flame throwing exhaust; this Hot Rod Impala screams “One Cool Car”. If you are looking for a completely unique 1 off custom that will turn every head; look no further you have found your car. With less than 2,500 miles on the odometer since the build, it is clear to see that this 1960 Chevy Impala Hot Rod was a show queen. Just because this amazing Impala hasn’t gotten out much, doesn’t mean that it is a sleeper. Under the hood sits a fully rebuilt tri-power 348 V8 with lots of horsepower. The engine fires right up and runs very smoothly. The car is equipped with a flame throwing kit, so that on command the car will shoot flames out of the rear exiting tailpipes. This hot rod rides on hydraulic suspension that not only provides comfort, but adds a ton of fun. Nothing gains more attention that pulling up to a restaurant, bar, club, or car show and lower the car down almost to the ground. The interior was completely redone in a fully custom upholstery. The dark red and white combination perfectly accents the dark red exterior. Every detail was carefully thought through, all the way down to an upholstered cover for the radiator that gets put on at car shows. The controls for the hydraulic suspension and built into the center console. All the gauges were swapped out to fully digital gauges for a more accurate and modern styling. On the exterior of the car faux windshield lamps and side pipes were added to give the car the right look. The taillight panel was fully customized: adding twice the number of lights and using Cadillac lenses. The entire car was painted correctly in a beautiful dark red maroon color and the paint still shines like a mirror. The rear deck light was painting by hand with a unique Route 66 scene and ghost flames were added to the front clip. There is not small bubble in the paint on the edge of the hood no bigger than a pea( see photographs), but unless you were looking for it and knew where to look you wouldn’t notice it.
