Vehicle Detail

I bought this car as a father son project when I was 18. My father and I have done lots of work to this pony over the years and it is now ready for someone else with time to finish her up. We installed:new floorpanstaillight panel2 fender aprons1 trunk side floor1 rocker panelnew brake linesfuel linesshockspower steering slave cylinderPlus a few extras A few years ago I purchased:Bolt KitsBrand new front fendersDoor shellsFront ValanceGrillHoodNew bumpersNew Interior CarpetNew Dash PadNew Interior LightsNew Rubber SealsRoof badgesWindshield chromeRecently Reuplstered seats It also has a interior screw kit and many more parts The engine is a 1973 351ci Cleveland 4 Barrel. It was bored .030" over and all the machine work was done by D&B machine in Indianapolis. The transmission is a C-6 Automatic that has already been overhauled. *Also has a brand new torque converter. This car was put on a rotissary and lots of detail went into getting it back to acceptable road conditions. When I started fixing this car, I ran into something I wasn't expecting. At some point the rear fenders had been replaced. However, whoever replaced them, cut too high up on the cars roof line, causing a gap between the new fenders and the roof. They fixed this problem by putting a piece of metal in between the roof and the fender and filled it full of bondo. I felt like this was a mistake I didn't want to live with, so my father and I cut off the roof, and paid a mustang shop in indy to put on a roof from our donor car which was in great shape. Now, if any bondo is needed, it will be minimal and should not be a problem. I believe the only thing this car needs, is a steering wheel, new tires, windshield, assembled and painted. The engine and transmission is currently not installed, but the car is on a rolling chassis. When you come to pick up this beauty, be sure to leave lots of room for the extra parts. I have extra wiring harnesses, power steering pumps, trim pieces, etc... The mileage on the car is unknown. My intention was to put it back to 0 after the build was complete. the odometer reads 20257.3 and is assumed to be 120257.3 miles. I don't know if there is a way to tell if it has rolled over more than once. I will take as many pics as possible, but if you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I will answer them as soon as possible. If you are local, or close enough to stop in, I will be happy to show you the car for a more thorough inspection. Thanks, and happy bidding. On Jun-14-13 at 08:41:49 PDT, seller added the following information: The 351 Cleveland engine, has an edlebrock performer aluminum intake, and edlebrock 4v carburator. It has a mallory ignition and distributer. I cannot remember what size cam was installed, but it is a bigger cam to ensure this car would have some grrr to it. This car has some pretty good sized headers that I painted with POR 15 high temp paint. Every thing that was done to this car was done with making sure it would last and show very well. I have 2 back glasses and extra triangle windows for the car. the chrome drip rails are brand new as well as the back glass moulding. I have the rear louvers with the original latches and also the rear spoiler. There are 2 or 3 wiper motors, as well as extra cowls. (the metal body piece that goes in between the windshield and the hood) I cannot possibly list every brand new part or used part that comes with this car on here, but there is a lot. This car has the dash pad for air conditioning, but there is no compressor or condenser. I do, have some of the air conditioning lines. The heater core is brand new, and has already been rebuilt. If you noticed in the pictures, the underbody of the car has a textured black paint. This is actually a bedliner paint to ensure my pony would not have any issues with rust. The wheels that are on the car are magnum 500's and are considered to be in ok condition. The tires, however need to be replaced.
