The NCRS guide calls it a " Hydraulic Folding Top Mechanism." Only 512 Corvettes (out of 10,261) were equipped with this option in 1960. The mechanics were well restored during the Frame Off. The car also comes with a pillow that protects the rear window when in the down position. K
