Vehicle Detail
The buy it now is only a few hundred more than the reserve and is priced to sell quickly!! Selling our 1969 Mustang Fastback 2+2. M code factory 351 Windsor, At. Only 58,000 ACTUAL miles on this California car!! Car spent its entire life in Richmond, California and is still registered and titled in California. Bought from 2nd owner who almost never drove it but kept it garaged since 1986. Car is darker green than in the pictures. This car will come with the buyer's choice of wheels and tires. Either the new 20's and low profile tires that are currently on the car or the much more original steel GT wheels and bf goodrich tires. Both sets of tires have plenty of tread left and the GT wheels have all of the red center caps and are in great condition. Original 351 Windsor that runs very strong. Fmx tranny. 9" rear. Loaded with options for the 1969. Air conditioning (will come with working compressor and condensor) Disc brakes, dual racing mirrors, dual exhaust, sony cd stereo, viper alarm system etc. The positives are the car has no rust, never had any rust and is very very clean underneath. The motor runs strong, is highly detailed and looks great. The car has a hood scoop, front and rear spoilers and looks mean. The cobra emblems are not permanently fixed to the car so it will be easy to go back to a factory look. The body (with the exception of some dings in the roof) is very straight and the lines are all good. The interior looks good as is but the backseat will need recovering of the upholstery but has nice carpet on the fold down panels. The trunk looks very nice with nice carpet. I know I am forgetting some things! The bad- In my opinion the color should have remained its original Acapulco Blue, but I just dont like dark green! There is a crack in the windshield, there is also crack where there always is on a 1969, by the speaker on the dash pad, there is some wear on the drivers seat on the upper side from getting in and out, there are some nicks in the paint on the rear panel that was done in 1995, otherwise it looks nice, again I might be forgetting some minor details but nothing significant. Its hard to find a fastback in this condition with such low miles, and its an M code which just makes it that much more fun! Please ask any questions and only bid if you are serious! We are open to and encourage inspections prior to bidding. Please do not bid and then ask to do an inspection. Clear title ready to go with the documented mileage, We will help with transport and can facilitate that if you need. Thanks and good luck!!
