For-Sale is my 1998 Honda Pacific Coast (PC800). This PC800 is in near perfect condition with 24k miles. The original red paint is bright and shiny (not orange like many). The bodywork is scratch-free and tight (no broken attaching tabs). The front and rear Sargent seats are very comfortable and also in perfect condition with matching red trim. The 800cc v-twin engine is powerful, starts/runs perfectly, and gets 50+ mpg. The transmission, clutch, shaft-drive, brakes and suspension shift/stop/ride as new. The bike has new spark plugs and air filter, as well as fresh fluids throughout, including oil/filter, brake fluid, clutch fluid, fork fluid, shaft-drive lubricant, and new Honda coolant. The tires are low mileage, excellent condition Metzlers front and rear. An adjustable laminar lip has been installed on the windshield that minimizes wind turbulence & noise at highway speeds. A Vista-Cruise throttle lock is also in place. A complete original tool kit and owners manual, as well as a factory shop manual are included. The VIN number indicates that this PC800 was number 449 of a known probuction run of 456 in 1998, making it one of the very last Pacific Coast motorcycles that Honda produced. The Texas title is clear. If you're not familiar with PC800s, they were originally marketed by Honda as upscale commuter bikes. Honda designed the PC800 with a 100,000 (plus) mile liquid-cooled engine and chassis, including hydraulic lifters (no adjustments necessary), a low-maintenance shaft-drive system, and integrated front/rear crash bars. Onboard storage available in the PC800s clam-shell trunk is huge - up to four full-size grocery bags, or two full size helmets, or gear for a week. 1998 was the final year of PC800 production which featured the cleaner, unshrouded front fork & fender design. PC800s have a low center of gravity which make them nimble around town but also very nice handling bikes. The overall seat height is low making it an ideal bike for riders with shorter inseams. This PC800 is equally at home commuting to work, putzing around town, bending through your favorite twisty road, or riding coast to coast. This is a pristine bike that needs nothing except a rider.
