For sale is a 1964 Dodge Dart GT barn find. It had been sitting in a barn for over 20 years before it was pulled out. No power steering, no power brakes, no post coupe. It runs! That's right, the old 225 slant six runs like a top after replacing the points, doing a tune up and changing the oil. I also replaced the water pump and added a second inline fuel filter. No external gas tank, it is pulling clean gas through the tank. It drives AND stops! I got the brakes working enough to roll up and down the driveway. The clutch works and it goes through all the gears. No test drives unless you've driven a car with drums and no power brakes before. I WOULD NOT DRIVE IT ON THE ROAD. The emergency brake cable snapped and I only replaced the brake parts that were needed to go up and down the drive way. The bearings will need to be replaced in the front as I reused the old ones. It will need work. Please don't come expecting it to be perfect and you can drive it away into the sunset. It will need new quarter panels, there is a hole in the drivers side floor and a part of the trunk. Some other body work is needed as well. The frame is solid. and it looks like it got a thick undercoating before being put away years ago. I got it running and mostly stopping, now someone else can take it to the next level. All the glass is good, as well as all the trim pieces. I will not ship it. Bring a trailer if you are going to buy it. I have 3 original hubcaps and 1 odometer hubcap.On Jun-16-13 at 20:29:56 PDT, seller added the following information: In response to some questions: The dash pad has some cracks in it, should be able to see the two cracks covered with tape by the previous owner. 13 inch steel wheels, I have 5 wheels. The front drivers side headlight bezel is in great shape. The front passenger side headlight bezel is dented, but I do have it and since it's not pot metal, you should be able to hammer it out. They are bucket seats in the front. The drivers side has tape on it, I assume that it is torn underneath. The other seats are in good condition since they weren't used much.
