1969 Chevrolet C/10 Shortbed You are looking at a clean classic truck that is a joy to drive and gets a lot of attention. I cant go out without someone stopping me and asking me about my truck. I bought this truck to enjoy driving around a classic truck and use it for going to the hardware store or to haul things around. This truck is very nice and I wanted to keep it that way and that is why I dont haul things in it that may scratch or damage this truck. I will go over everything that I was told to me about the truck when I bought it. The truck has a small block engine with a 2bbl carburetor that runs great. The engine starts right up every time and idles nice. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly. The truck has been upgraded to a 5 lug wheel with like new tires. The breaks work flawlessly and have been upgraded to disc brakes on the front and drum on the rear. The interior is nice and clean with only minor defects. The paint on the truck is fairly new and shines very nice. The exhaust from the engine all the way to the very back of the truck is all new and sounds really nice (Mild rumble) Keeping the engine cool is a new aluminum radiator. The AM/FM radio works. The dash has never been cut like many have been for a DIN style radio. I was told the milage of 76K is original miles. The title is clean. I have tried very hard to get some very good pictures to show just how nice this truck is but understand this truck is not without a few flaws. I have put a Buick steering wheel on the truck as I did not like the newer looking wheel that was on the truck when I bought it. The truck runs out nice and smooth on the highway. At 60mph the truck is not straining but just running smooth and easy. The truck bed is in good condtion with a few flaws but its a truck. The bed has been painted with a inexpensive bed liner paint and I would say it deserves a better quality bed liner. The chrome on the truck is nice and bright. Overall this truck is just a great driver to go to work or local cruise ins. I will miss this truck and hope someone can find the time to drive it and enjoy it more than I have been able to.
