Vehicle Detail
1987 Chevy C10 for sale. I hate to see her go as I have put a lot of time and energy into her but I no longer have the time and we just purchased a new car so I no longer have space for it. I am selling this wonderful project truck best offer. No disrespect but I do not have to sale this truck therefore please no lowballing. Runs and drives but not for long as the trans fluid will leak out. Replenish fluid and drives fine again. Here is the good and the bad. Good: Body work recently completed Painted 1 year ago Lowered by TCI - 3" in front and 5" in the back Rebuilt R4 transmission with stage 4 shift kit New water pump New battery Flowmasters installed Tailgate replaced Few extra parts (molding and engine) Great heat Bad: Neighbor backed out of driveway and bumped it (small dent on passenger front fender - Macco said the could knock it out and paint it for $150. Pulled the engine out and replacement engine is not lining up with transmission properly - leaking transmission fluid out. Needs brakes I had custom Foose wheels on it which I sold so it could use tires as well. Been sitting for a year only driving every now and then so it could use some wax. Did not come with AC Did not come with radio Truck would make a great restoration or daily driver depending on which way you wanted to go. I used it for both and had a great time with it. After pulling the motor out I have not done much with it. It will start right up but you can not drive very far without replacing the transmission fluid. Very stong truck and fast. Replace or rebuild the motor and you are ready to go minus all of the money and time of other restoration. The truck is not perfect hints the price compared to other C10's. The fluid issue could be smething very minor I simply don't have time with my travel schedule. I can answer basic questions but I am no expert mechanic. This truck is perfect for someone that is mechanically inclined or wants to put a little money for a great outcome.
