Vehicle Detail
Relisting due to "no contact/non-paying" bidder. This is a car from my 93 year old late great uncle's estate. I've found NO TITLE from the estate for it, but it does have the vin plate in the door jam, and the tags on the cowl. The car is pretty rusty, but has enough cool to make up for it. Not sure, but I think its been in a field for about 50 years. We recently hauled it to our shop, put tires on it, got all the wheels to turn free for easier loading. The steering works too. But the motor is stuck tight. The radiator was gone, seats and hood ornament are missing. All door pads, armrests, window cranks, interior moldings, etc are in place. Floor heater, dash accessories all there but the clock and radio are gone. The floor pans are rotted outside of the frame where they meet whats left of the rockers. The quarters are rotted in front of the rear tires, and the trunk lid has rot at the bottom (probably outside and in). Pictures show some of it, more pictures available. The (broken) intake manifold, carb, air breather <(rotted lid), rear brake drums, and fender skirts <(rusty) are inside the trunk. The trunk floor is rotton as well. I didnt find any soft spots in the frame, or the X frame. The hood looks good and opens and closes from either side with a little effort. The doors swing open and closed, but the drivers door doesnt latch. I will have a cord holding that door shut for transport. The rear window glass and passenger side windshield are broke out, but all other glass seems ok. The roof skin looks solid. The hood is solid too. Very cool old ride, and pretty rare too. Buyer is responsible for all shipping concerns. The car is fine sitting at my shop for a while if needed. A $200.00 non-refundable deposit is due through paypal within 24 hours of auction end. Full payment by cash in person or wire transfer is due within 3 days of auction end. No returns or refunds. Thanks for bidding.
