This is an exceptional 1974 Porsche 911 non-sunroof coupe. Very original, low mileage (44700 miles) totally damage free, never any accidents or mishaps, numbers matching. This car has never been restored or messed with, PCA owners. Originally a California car from Sunnyvale, CA.The only changes have been recommended upgrades, Dansk stainless muffler, SSI heat exchangers, oil fed tensioners and valve cover upgrade, all on the original engine. BODY All panels are straight and damage free. No corrosion and absolutely no rust. Gaps are as they left the factory. Paint appears to be original, no signs of a repaint. Some minor rash on the hood. Paint has good luster and shine. Guards red code 027 . The underside is clean and free from any road hazard damage. All trim, rubber and bright work is in exceptional condition. Doors close with the Porsche 911 satisfactory click.All stickers and labels are intact and have clean edges again showing no signs of repaint. The rubber seals and trim are supple, clean, show no shrinkage or deterioration. All glass is fine including the windshield. All welds, nose area door jambs are perfect with original paint to show no accidents or repaint. Original rockguard is still intact under each fender lip to show no signs of repair.Cadnium plating is clean and bright. Car has always been garaged and shows, no paint or interior fading. MECHANICAL Original engine #6145186 has had a recent reseal and is totally leak free. All fluids have been changed, CV joints serviced and new boots installed. Everything has been attended to as to make the car reliable for long outings without concern. Engine starts quickly, no strange sounds and no smoke. The Dansk muffler and SSI give a great sound. Engine bay is spotless as is the underside. Car is tight, no rattles, newer Michellin tires, recent alignment and Bilstien shocks. Fuchs are perfect, no rash or marks. INTERIOR The interior is flawless, no rips tears or stains. Seats are comfortable and firm. Carpet shows no wear as they have always been covered with mats. Headliner is perfect. No cracks or curls in the original dash. All gauges, lights and switches work as they should even the clock. There is no sun damage or fading to the dash or rear package tray. Dealer installed AC, pump has been removed but goes with the car. Car comes with its original tool kit, spare, jack and compressor. Records and manual are also included with the car. The records, conversation with the previous PCA owner and an older appraisal as well as the condition of the car, all indicate the mileage is accurate at 44700 miles. This car is in hard to find preserved original condition. Given it is from the lost and forgotten years 1974-77 it has survived the usual abuse. These years are being noticed and have risen in value as the other Porsche have gone unaffordable in the last few years. Only recently have these cars been looked at as collectable. A car in this condition is sure to be a collectors Porsche. This car has won several awards in regional and local PCA events as well as the Porsche Parade in Keystone CO. I have been collecting and enjoying Porsches for 20 years, time for someone else to enjoy this car while I pursue the next project. I am a long time member of PCA and have held several executive positions in the club over the years, I am also a member of the 356 Registry. This car came from a fellow PCA member.
