This is the kind of bike people automatically associate with Steve McQueen-cool, and it is. It has been my favorite, and I often have used it as a commuter (though I only live four miles from work), but I have to get rid of a few things and am going to have to let it go. The motorcycle spends a lot of its time in my shop warehouse, and that's why I just have to face the facts that its time to thin the herd. People stop me just about every time I take it out and ask about the 'restoration work' I've done on it - and are always surprised when I tell them that it's not a bike from the 60's, but what Triumph calls a 'modern classic.' There are fewer than 3,200 miles on the bike and it has never let me down. The profile is lean and thin, and it has a nimbleness that big touring bikes have lost. As soon as I got it, I was reminded of why I started riding motorcycles in the first place.
