Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is this 1984 Chevrolet M1008 K30 military CUCV, it has 53,334 original miles on the 6.2 diesel. The 6.2 had the old ceramic glow plugs replaced with a set of heavy glow plugs from Kennedy performance, it runs and drives flawlessly it has a clear title and all proper military identification tags. The truck comes factory with a Dana 60 front axle and a 14 bolt rear axle both with the original 4.56 gear ratios. The truck is equipped with a trac-lok differential in the front and a Detroit locking differential in the rear, both axles have been completely gone through with new seals and bearings. The truck came equipped with a GM 400 transmission and NP205 gear driven transfercase. The original 400 turbo was removed and replaced with a highly modified 700R4 built specifically for this heavy diesel application. The transmission has a heavy duty diesel torque converter with heavy lock up, 5 gear planetaries front and rear, heavy beast sunshell ,corvette servos, high performance boost valve, oversized bands with Kevlar clutches and much more ( trans has maybe 250 miles on it since install. The front springs were replaced with a custom set of reached 1 1/4 ton rated springs which put the stance back where it needed to be ( the truck has plenty of room front and rear for 37" tires). The suspension is equipped with new Rancho shocks and steering stabilizer as well as swaybars front and rear, the truck is load rated for 1 1/4 ton and has factory overloads on rear, tow hooks and shackles. The rear bumper has an integrated heavy duty receiver hitch tied directly into the frame.interior is in great condition with a custom Digital MARPAT seat cover with integrated rifle sheath on the back (big enough for my fully loaded M40 and rig), the original seat and skin underneath is in great shape just wanted the heavy seat cover. The exterior of the truck has been custom painted digital camouflage with the standard olive CARC integrated into the pattern, the body is in great shape and has no rust spots anywhere, the cab floor and the bed have both been bedlined to prevent any future rust.. The truck currently rides on black 16x8 simulock steel wheels with 295/70/16 BFG all terrains with 80% tread ( they ride great). The truck was originally a flight line vehicle from Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina. The title and truck will not be released to winning bidder until confirmation of funds has been made (cash, certified cashiers check, paypal). A nonrefundable $500 deposit is due within 48 hours of auction close Full within 7 days of auction closing.
