You are bidding on a great truck 1978 Ford F-250 4x4 Lariat Trailer Special with Ford Camper special canopy and tie-downs 400 V8 4-barrel - C6 Automatic with shift kit Power steering, Power brakes, Air conditioning(needs charging) Rare truck that has been taken care of, this is NOT a rusty old beat up farm truck. This truck has just about every option that they offered in 1978 including the Trailer special package, Lariat package, Ford camper shell, locking hood release, CB radio, air conditioning and more. Truck runs and drives out great, lots of power - No smoke handles nice and tight, tracks straight down the road, it doesn't rattle and clatter. body is really straight, paint is driver quality but is showing its age - there are chips and thin spots here and there. the only rust I can find is down low behind the rear tires(typical spot) The stainless is in good shape, not many dings - the tailgate trim is really nice, this truck has NOT been worked hard. This truck is solid! the floors, door corners, cab rails, cab mounts, cab corners, cab skirts etc. are in really good shape! This truck isn't a show truck by any means but will make someone a great driver! I have enjoyed my time with it but its time to let someone else have fun with it. I have had a few people misunderstand my listing, this truck does NOT have any rust in the wheel wells!
