Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my beloved FJ62. I purchased this vehicle via the internet from a dealer in Florida back in 2007. It was completely stock, and I still have all the original parts/wheels/tires that will ship with the vehicle. Prior to my purchase, I had a compression test performed, and it has run well since I've owned it. It has been a recreational vehicle for me, and it has spent its life for the past 5 years in my garage when not in use (I've put 10,000 miles on it). I added the teflon black American Racing wheels and the BFG A/T tires, the charcoal grill/light doors, put a decent Pioneer Stereo with Infiniti amp/subwoofer combo with MTX speakers (Single CD player with iPod aux). I also installed new mudflaps, new antenna, hood bumpers and sidemarker reflectors. A year ago, I retrofitted the A/C system, and installed all new belts/compressor/air pump that now use 134 A freon. It blows nice and cold. I had an oil leak coming from the valve cover, and I installed a new gasket a couple of months ago, and the leak stopped. In doing so, I serviced the vehicle as well, and I wouldn't hesitate to take it across country if I had to. For the bad stuff: The paint is original with the exception of the hood and the roof. The dealer I bought if from had the work done, and it was due to some spots of sun fade. Evidence of the fading can be seen just below the rear windows where they did not paint. They did a decent job however. There are also a few dings and scratches on the vehicle, but not too horrible considering it is 23 years old. On the hood there is a rub mark caused by my bicycle handlebar from when I went to Colorado (I trailered the vehicle and had our bikes strapped to the trailer in front of the Cruiser). Lastly there is a crack (infamous for these) on the middle of the dashboard. Other than that, there are no major issues to report. It has run like a watch for me, and I have taken very good care of it since I've had it. She's a nice ride, and I certainly have enjoyed it. However, reality has set in and I really don't drive it enough to warrant ownership. There is no rust on the body whatsoever, and there is only minor surface rust on the undercarraige. Please feel free to ask questions or request additional pictures. Also, if you recall seeing this vehicle before, it is because I had it listed here on eBay about 9 months ago. It came close to my reserve, but it didn't reach it. It's time I take another crack at it!
