Vehicle Detail
For sale is our 2002 Honda Silver Wing (FSC600) scooter. It's incredibly comfortable and easy to ride. I purchased this Christmas before last for my wife in hopes she would love riding as much as I do. However, it hasn't worked out that way. As I have my own bike and just don't need 2 to keep up with - it's for sale. Honda says the color is Candy Wineberry Red, color 08704-R114CU-PN. It's in very good condition, as the pictures will reveal. This bike does NOT have ABS. As far as I know, I am the 3rd owner, and this scooter has been used by 2 people learning to ride. It has some imperfections. There are no cracks in the faring or other broken parts due to tip-overs, but it is NOT a scratch free finish. While it was being used for learning purposes, I had saddlebags and front wind deflectors installed which saved the body work. As you see it now, I have removed the saddlebags and the broken front wind deflectors. In the fairing close ups you can see the screw holes which remain after removing the broken wind deflectors. I've touched up the paint, which actually looks very decent. As I said, if you want a cosmetically perfect bike THIS IS NOT IT, but it's very nice and all learner scratches have been touched up. It has a tail trunk, of unknown brand. I've also added BikeMaster heated grips which are relay controlled through the ignition switch, so you don't have to worry about forgetting to turn off the grips. The heated grips are very nice on a cool morning. I have a new set of rubber wind deflectors for the front which go with the sale. You can install them or not, it's up to you. There's also an extra engine air filter and oil filter included. All the maintenance is current. I prepped it for the riding season in April of this year with the following services and maintenance items: -New drive belt (Honda OEM) -New CVT rollers (Honda OEM) -New front and rear tires -New brake pads front and rear -Flushed and filled all fluids (brake fluid, coolant, rear end) -Tune Up with new Iridium Spark Plugs -Oil and Filter Change -New Air Filter (engine) -New Air Filter (rear end) Note: the mileage in April was 18,400 and now it is 19084 as I often ride it to work. On May-07-13 at 16:49:05 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot a few extras and a comment or 2, as follows: -Driver backrest installed last spring (you'll see these on ebay as "Backrest Buttrest") - excellent addition and greatly enhances riding comfort -Throttle Rocker installed and visible in pics. After you get used to having one, you'll never go without it. I put them on all my bikes. -Passenger backrest: sadly, the neighbors cat decided to use by passenger backrest as a clawing board. I've sealed the claw marks, but to be perfect it should be recovered. Of course the neighbor doesn't have a clue. It's shown in the pics. -I've added a safety feature: There's a led light mounted to the back of the tail trunk that sequentially lights each RED led from left-to-right and right-to-left while the key is on or the bike is running.
