Hello, up for bid is this 1981 generation 1 toyota pickup. Obviously you can tell by the picks that it needs a paint job. The rust you see in the pics is only surface rust. There isnt any cancer on this truck at all. This includes the frame. The previous owner started sanding on it like he was going to paint it and the abandoned the idea. This truck came out of the desert in eastern Washington. It has been stored inside when not driven. The body on this truck is extremely straight. Additionally, this truck has not been modified to a rock crawler of messed with in any way. the only mods made were the stereo, some fog lights up front and a trailer hook up in the back. I was told it was used on an apple orchard to haul the sprayers at times. which leads me to the milage. The title was last updated in 1993 at that time the milage on the rig was 30449. The previous owner bought it from the apple grower. I believe the milage to be correct and under 100,000. the odemetor says 69,500. The engine runs well and doesnt smoke or leak oil. So eighther the engine has been swapped (if it was the did a great job because all of the vacuum lines are hooked up and work great) ,or it has 169,500. I think it is the first one. Transmission: 4 speed, shifts smooth and doesnt make any noises at all. The clutch works great. 4wd: Works great. no funny noises or issues. Brakes: Work great. event the ebrake works great. Interior: The bench seat has seen better days. The rest of the interior looks good. The dash is intact and in good condition. Most of the time the interior on these old trucks looks like a tornado passed through the cab. This is a really mechanically sound truck with some cosmetic issues. Please email with any questions.
