Spring is here and summer is right around the corner. Time to put the top down on your new wrangler and cruise around town. This 1988 Jeep Wrangler YJ was built by Survival Ready 4x4 and shows like new, with one exception: under the hood. Jeep never made a wrangler with a V8 engine. The options were the incredibly underpowered 4 cylinder or the not as weak inline 6. This great Jeep has been upgraded to a very strong Jeep 360 cubic inch V8, allowing this Wrangler to truly “get up and go” when you need it to. With its 360 V8 engine and 5 speed manual transmission, this jeep is a blast to drive. The interior was completely gutted, painted, and redone. With front smittybilt waterproof seats across the front row and a smittybilt fold and tumble bench seat in the rear. The floor, just like the rest of the tub is rust free, and to make sure it stayed that way, was coated in rhino-line like product. A brand new premium black carpet kit was added. To top off the interior a new locking center console, door panels, roll bar cover, and headunit were installed. The interior still has the new car smell you would expect to find in a brand new car. To keep out the elements all new door seals and weather stripping was added. The body of this great jeep was always very solid, and prior to paint any areas of concerns were addressed. This jeep has ZERO filler and is one of the cleanest jeeps you will find. DuPont commercial grade paint was used to paint this jeep, and the silver metallic perfectly accents the black hardtop and black interior. A smittybilt offroad ready bumper was added to the front. The BF Goodrich All Terrain 33” tires are almost brand new. The jeep does have a 2” shackle lift and rides very comfortably. Power steering and power brakes make it a joy to drive. This restored 1988 Jeep Wrangler is sure to be a blast this summer and will certainly bring years of enjoyment to come. The wrangler has a clean and clear title and is ready for the new owner.
