Up for auction is our 1964 Ford Fairlane 500 4-door. It was my dad's weekend cruiser that he bought in the late 1970's. He removed the original 2-speed transmission and installed a newer 3-speed automatic. Also, the original cloth seat material was replaced with tufted vinyl upholstery. There's an FM converter installed below the dash so that we could listen to more than just AM radio. Currently, it has Torino GT wheels on it, but we still have the original wheels with tires that will go along with the car. He backed it into our barn in the later 1980's and it has sat parked since. It doesn't run at this time but the engine was still loose that last time I checked. The interior is in very good condition. The paint has faded and the only rust I have found were small bubbles near the lower rear quarters. It was repainted in the early '80's and the person who painted it lost the 'R' for the Ford text across the trunk lid. All the other trim is in place and in good shape. I have a clear title in-hand for the car. Please ask me any questions you may have prior to bidding. It is located in NW Ohio. The buyer is responsible for picking the car up.
