The Vega is in all original unmolested condition with a solid body, (has the 1975 Ohio tags) At some point it appears that the left door has been damaged (door skin replaced) other then that it appears to have no other body repairs, body is straight has some surface rust (very solid) original color and paint with gold graphics (graphics are faded) The Vega runs excellent, everything works, the hood cable will need replaced, has the correct gold spoke wheels, the interior is close to being perfect, driver seat has very minor wear, has the correct 8000 RPM tachometer and the dash is in great condition all original.. There were only 3508 Cosworth Vegas built during its two year run of 1975 and 1976, all cars were built at the Lordstown Ohio plant.. The Lordstown factory installed a Cosworth Vega engine that had been assembled in Tonawanda, NY into this body. It then built this vehicle as a Cosworth Vega model. It was the number 159640 Vega built for this production year. The Lower Left Corner of the BODY TAG of this car should read: 259640C.
