First thing i want to say is that the bike is not as faded as the pictures make it look. The plastic looks pink in the pictures but it is red. The sun was bright that day and made it look lighter than it is. hello i am selling my 1990 pilot I bought this bike in California a year and a half ago and had it shipped to me here in the Midwest from its original home.in california I looked for this for years before deciding on this one. I was looking for a clean no rust machine that time had been a little kinder to and felt the desert south west had the best ones offered for sale I love the pilot but I will be moving soon and all toys must go this pilot is in pretty good condition considering its 23 yrs old when I bought it the pilot had been sitting and so I replaced the top end with a new wiseco standard bore top end kit had the fuel tank acid cleaned and painted replaced the fuel filter and installed a new battery and installed a new air filter and cleaned out the airbox overall this will make someone very happy as these are getting harder to find and more expensive here in the Midwest the only things I feel the pilot could use is a new cv boot on one of the rear axles as it is torn and maybe clean the carburetor as I never got to that, replace the dented front bumper and a couple of the rims are dented from the big rocks out west.but all hold air fine All this pilot truely needs is some minor maintainence from lack of use and to be ridden and enjoyed like it was made to be. there is a PILOTODYSSEY.COM forum that has a wealth of information from a lot of experienced and die hard pilot odyssey guys and they pride themselves in helping one another maintain and continue their passion in keeping these awesome machines running the seat is in good original condition and the plastic is all original and undamaged and it has the original tires and has been garaged its whole life I have a clear California title ready to hand over to the new owner and this will be sold with NO RESERVE I DO NOT HAVE A BUY IT NOW IF YOU WANT THE PILOT BE THE HIGH BIDDER AT THE END OF THE AUCTION AND I WILL NOT END THE AUCTION EARLY AS I DONT LIKE IT WHEN IT IS DONE TO ME AND I WILL NOT DO THAT TO ANYONE ELSE YOU ARE BUYING THE PILOT AS IS WITH NO RESERVE ,IT WILL BE SOLD REGARDLESS OF WHAT IT BRINGS.
