NO RESERVE AUCTION! I am offering for auction my 1963 Buick Special convertible. I bought this car several years ago and have not had time to do anything with it and it is just deteriorating in my yard. This is a decent project car that runs and yard drives, but needs brake work. It has the peppy aluminum V8 which is numbers matching to the car. It has very old gas in it right now and the carburator needs rebuilt, so it is currently running rough. I have let the engine idle for at least 20 minutes and there was no overheating issues. The car needs a new exhaust system and a battery. The body of this car is pretty solid for its age. The paint appears to be mostly original with the only bondo being a skim coat on the driver's door skin, probably from a crease in the door. There is some rust in the floors, door bottoms, quarters {minor}, trunk, and under the back window as shown in the pictures. I have rust free replacement doors that will be offered to the winning bidder for sale seperately. I also have many other nice parts I bought over the years that I will offer to the winning bidder. The interior of this convertible needs a cleaning, but is in pretty good condition. The driver's seat and driver door panel are the worst part. The top is dirty but in good condition with one tiny hole where a tree branch fell on it. Back window is clear. I think this is a fairly easy project that could be on the road by summer with a little time and $$. I have a clear title in my name and will help load on a transporter for shipping.
