You are bidding on a very nice 1998 Ford Windstar GL with a IMS Rampvan conversion plus push button start and shifting. This van has only 52088 miles on it. Carfax verifies the clean title and actual mileage on this one (click the CARFAX emblem below to see the entire report for free). This van has NO RUST and NO issues. It has been in the south it's entire life. I sold it to the second owner, that due to the passing of his son, no longer requires it. The exterior paint is still very shiny and bright. The van has a few minor scuffs and such, but nothing major. PLEASE LOOK AT THE 100 PICTURES I HAVE POSTED. Hint: if you click on one of the smaller pictures, it will replace the larger one. Just scroll back up to see it. The tires are almost brand new Goodyears. They are wearing evenly and smoothly. The interior of the van shows virtually no wear at all. There are no holes, tears or rips anywhere in the cloth seats, headliner or carpet. The van has the EMC controls for pushbutton shifting and pushbutton starting. You can also control the windows, blinkers, a/c, locks and more from the EMC pad or operate them as normal. The van has a power ramp and power passenger's side door. These can be operated by levers inside the van or by a keychain remote control. There are wheelchair anchoring points located thru-out the van and it will come with 1 set of wheelchair anchoring straps. The two front seats are designed to be removed. I do NOT have the seat that would originally have been on the driver's side. The first owner drove from his wheelchair and did not have it in the van. The passenger's side seat is currently on the driver's side and fits there as well. The floor has been lowered from in front of the rear seat all the way to firewall. The ramp is 30 inches wide, the entrance is 53 inches tall and the interior of the van is 56 1/2 inches tall. The ramp is rated to 800 LBS. The van also has the power kneeling system that lowers the rear of the van when you deploy the ramp. All the handicap systems have been inspected and serviced by a mobility company here in the Dallas area. Everything works as it should with no issues. This van has NEVER been smoked in.
I have had the vehicle inspected by a mechanic. He found it to be in good mechanical shape with only normal wear. I have had the filters, fluids and belts all inspected and serviced as needed. This van needed virtually nothing at all. It has been that well serviced and cared for it's entire life. The van has no leaks or drips, does not smoke and shifts out solidly and smoothly. It has no wobbles or shakes at 70 mph on the freeway. All the power and electronic equipment work like new. The air conditioning is ice cold and the heater warm and toasty. There are just no known problems with this vehicle. I take pictures of all my vehicles as they are when they come to me. I don't detail them and shine them up to hide stuff in the pictures. The pictures of the underneath show you the normal road dust and the fact that there is NO RUST. I will have this one detailed and awaiting the winning bidder.
