Thank you! 1920 DODGE MODEL 30 ROADSTER I am pleased to present this wonderful 1920 Dodge Model 30 Roadster with the rare Budd wire wheels. I purchased this Roadster two years ago from the NATMUS Museum in Auburn, Indiana. The museum had the car on display for many years. The overall look of the Dodge is very appealing from the 33 inch knock off wire wheels to the unique factory bobbed rear fenders. I studied this car for hours before making the purchase agreement. The best aspect of this car is the solidness of its construction. You will notice in the pictures that there is no body rot and the integrity of the chassis. I removed the floor boards so you could see its inner structure. The paint is very old and should be refinished to make it show worthy although I am sure it would fall into the survivor class at any Concours. The interior is very nice with no rips or tears and is in the original pattern. The instrument board is free of any alterations. The Roadster top is excellent. The windshield is excellent. I could not find any previous body damage or repair. Mechanically there are some issues. There is coolant leakage at the water pump. I assume this could be repaired with new seals. It will leak oil when sitting. The carb will leak at times and the original vacuum chamber that serves as the fuel provider has been by passed by an electric pump. By the way this Dodge has a factory 12 volt system and thus uses a 12 volt battery. Lastly the fuel tank will need to be resealed but is not rusted out. I removed it and never finished the repair. It currently operates off a fuel can. Have provided a picture of the fuel tank after it has been boiled out. Plus you will see a picture of various tools and items that will go with the car. The car is fun to drive with an excellent clutch and all gears working as intended. The brakes work as intended. Please bear in mind that this Roadster has been in storage for many years and therefore will need proper servicing to make it reliable. My original intentions was to make a speedster out of it and update the power train but I never could get the nerve to alter this wonderful and rare car.
