Though only produced from 1957 to 1959, it was in 1958 that Dodge gave these beauties a facelift and introduced the "Swept Wing Style" and the Quad Headlamp system, while continuing the "All Steel" Sierra Station Wagon. In 1958, while America suffered its worse recession of the post war era and car sales plummet 31.4 %, Dodges' Custom Royal Line offered a limited edition paint and trim that was marketed as their "Spring Special" or "Springtime Trim". This is a great looking and running example of a wagon from that era. This Classic '58 Sierra Wagon features the pushbutton automatic transmission controls and a 361 V8 Engine with a TorqueFlite Transmission. The car starts, drives and shifts without hesitation; body is straight and does not show any evidence of accidents and appears to be all original. The undercarraige and body are rust free (other than minor evidence of age "patina" on some of the nuts & bults in door jams, etc. It is a real show stopper, because there are so few around. Overall the paint shows well with some minor blemishes (see pics). One of the windows has a small, minor crack in the glass, however, does not leak (see pics) and can be easily replaced for it is a standard flat glass. High Velocity Classics is proud to offer for auction this beautiful 1958 Dodge Custom Sierra Ram-Fire V8 Station Wagon with Torque Flite. Though only produced from 1957 to 1959, it was in 1958 that Dodge gave these beauties a facelift and introduced the "Swept Wing Style" and the Quad Headlamp system, while continuing the "All Steel" Sierra Station Wagon. In 1958, while America suffered its worse recession of the post war era and car sales plummet 31.4 %, Dodges' Custom Royal Line offered a limited edition paint and trim that was marketed as their "Spring Special" or "Springtime Trim". This is a great looking and running example of a wagon from that era.
This Classic '58 Sierra Wagon features the pushbutton automatic transmission controls and a 361 V8 Engine with a TorqueFlite Transmission. The car starts, drives and shifts without hesitation; body is straight and does not show any evidence of accidents and appears to be all original. The undercarraige and body are rust free (other than minor evidence of age "patina" on some of the nuts & bults in door jams, etc. It is a real show stopper, because there are so few around. Overall the paint shows well with some minor blemishes (see pics). One of the windows has a small, minor crack in the glass, however, does not leak (see pics) and can be easily replaced for it is a standard flat glass. It has brand new carpet through out and fairly new, very clean, period correct upholstery (no rips)
