This bike sits low and is light weight which makes for easy riding and easy handling. This is a GREAT starter bike. I purchased this bike 5 years ago from a private seller. This bike has been garage kept its entire life. When I purchased the bike, it had not been ridden in several years. I had the bike serviced and oil changed, at purchase. Bike runs good, but I’m sure another service is due, just because of the age of the bike. This bike has never even been rained on. It has been garage kept and covered with a blanket. I kept the bike on a trickle charger all winter. Started right up this spring and runs good. When I started looking for a Rebel, I wanted a Red and Cream. To get the Red and Cream Rebel, it had to be a 1996. This bike is not quite perfect, but I would bet it is one of the nicest and lowest mileage 1996 Rebels you will ever find. Everyone who sees this bike comments on how beautiful it is. Bike has a new front tire. I expect it will need a new back tire, not because of mileage, but age. Bike has two small dents in the gas tank. You can see the dents in the pictures ( near the R in Rebel). I know of nothing mechanical wrong with the bike. Buyer must pay $1000 Pay Pal Deposit within 48 hours of purchase. Balance "Cash only" at pickup. Must be picked up within 7 days of end of auction. With full payment, I will be happy to negotiate a pick up date of up to 30 days. I will meet buyer in Martinsburg, WV near I-81. I rode the bike less than 100 miles last year. Bike does not have a current license tag or WV state inspection sticker. This bike has been well taken care of. I'm confident it will pass inspection.
