CAR IS BEING RELISTED DUE TO NON PAYMENT, IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY, PLEASE DO NOT BID Out Of Private Collection! This is the real deal car.... This is a 1969 Camaro RS/SS 350 Convertible This car is very unique and has some very highly desirable options. Let's start with a little history on the car. The car was a Arizona car until recently. It was brought up from the original owner here to Chicago. The owner apparently had some issues with the original 350 as the shortblock is a CE (customer exchange) block. The car has the original heads, intake, exhaust manifolds, ect. The car is a very solid, dry car exhibiting all it's original body panels and one repaint. Obviously being a SS car, it has disk brakes, 12 bolt (posi) rear end, Muncie M-21 Transmission (VIN stamped on side of the trans) correctly coded posi rear end. We installed a new top, fuel tank, brake and fuel lines front to rear, and did some blasting and freshening of the rust free underside of the car. We went through the brakes, exhaust, suspension, ect. It appears the driveline has not been out of the car since the shortblock was swapped circa 1972. The car has deluxe interior, with black and white houndstooth inserts, (brand new) The carpet is new as well. The car has factory gauges which all work and the motor holds excellent oil pressure. The factory tach works as it should as well as all lights and signals work as designed. The RS headlights open and close on demand. The dash pad and door panels are beautiful originals, as well as the dash pad is fantastic. The interior really needs nothing and is beautiful and ready to go. Under the hood you'll see the factory ZL2 air cleaner, along with the original cowl induction hood. The flapper in the hood is still in it. You'll see all untouched unmolested engine bay. It even has the cool circa 1975 alarm siren! All original stamps on the firewall PTB, decals, ect. are still there. All air conditioning componets are unmolested and all in order. The car starts easy and runs well! The clutch feels great and it goes into all gears effortlessly! The floors and undercarriage are uncut and absolutely rust free. I've included pictures of the car, and I will be adding more tomorrow. As well as a few videos. The wheels are Rallys, with new trim rings and $500 worth of brand new tires, this is a real deal 1969 RS/SS ZL2 hood D80 car, with a 4 speed. Almost impossible to find! This car will not be given away cheap. You will be very hard pressed to find a higher optioned car. I have no POP or built sheet...but this car is not a restored car...it's as legit as they come . Interior is done....undercarriage is done...body is straight....
