0 0 0 Relocation Sale, No Reserve Because of a career promotion, I will be relocating to the west coast and will not have the capacity to properly store and take care of my loved cars I have accumulated over time. Unfortunately I will painfully consider selling most of my 13 cars to someone’s lucky benefit. I have included a picture of some of the cars taken on the front lawn of my house. They will go up for sale shortly on eBay and other classified listings. Please check my other eBay listings, as I will be willing to make a package deal for some or all. Rare and collectible, stunning original 1990 Porsche 944S2 cabriolet red with beautiful linen color interior. I purchased her from the original owner in Aiken, South Carolina. The owner was a wealthy international businessman that lived oversees the last ten years of his ownership. He meticulously maintained her with receipts over $4000 like replacing the clutch etc. Because the Porsche had not been driven much in the last ten years I decided to give her a proper service ahead of the indicated mileage maintenance interval. I had the Timing belt, cam tensioner belt, all rollers and some seals replaced. I also had a new water pump and thermostat replaced as well as oil and filter replaced, cooling system flushed, and serviced the a/c system with a new accumulator dryer and more (blows ice cold). I also had the brake system flushed. Installed a new master cylinder and had new brake pads and rotors installed in the rear. I have all the receipts to show including the factory Porsche owner’s manual. Mechanically- She runs perfect. The “highly acclaimed by enthusiast” 3.0L naturally aspirated dual overhead cam 208 hp motor starts up immediately with no hesitation or stumbling and settles at a smooth idle. No smoke, noises, rattles etc. As you start driving her you will notice the clutch engages effortlessly and accelerates smoothly as you shift thru the precise shifter. No crunching synchros or transmission noises, a very smooth shifting mechanism. At cruising speed you will be able to engage the cruise control and sit back and enjoy the Blaupunkt ventura stereo and comfortable ride. She drives straight with no vibrations, as the Dunlop tires are in great shape. The suspension is supple yet firm when needed as this German engineered Porsche handles and drives as you would expect. I drove her on a 350 mile road trip and managed 30mpg at a steady 75mph. Performance with economy that’s what I love about this Porsche. I have owned 4 older 911’s and this 944s2 lives up to the expert hype that this is a more balanced all around car than the 911 of its age. In addition, it hasn’t leaked a drop of fluid on my garage floor!! Wow a Porsche that doesn’t leak oil and break the bank on maintenance and fuel cost! Yet it looks stunning and drives as a Porsche should. Interior- All gauges and switches work properly. The show car white Linen leather interior is as original and beautiful as I have ever seen. You can tell this is a low mileage garaged specimen as the seats look as new. No scars, scrapes or worn spots on the leather steering wheel, shifter knob and the pedals show little wear. Carpets are well preserved as well as dash, door panels and headliner. Engine Compartment- Low mileage amazing condition with appropriate timing belt change sticker in place. Exterior- New top of the line German canvas cabriolet top professionally installed. It looks well fitted and high quality. I have pictures of the original top in good condition but had some rear window fading. She has factory original deep Guards red paint. All the body panels fit perfectly and the bolts that hold the fenders, hood, trunk lid, doors look like they have never been wrenched. There are no noticeable dents or large scratches on the car. As with a car of it’s age there has been touch up paint carefully applied to any road debris, knicks etc. She retains the factory original shinny paint and body panels having never been wrecked and that is priceless. Widely regarded as a fast appreciating classic due to its low production number (1,824 in 1990). These 944s2 cabriolets are a fun to drive, comfortable, relatively low maintenance, economical classic sport cars with great investment potential and value. I recently saw one listed on eBay with 32k miles for $26,900. This is one of my favorite cars in my collection. I have it listed locally for $18,900. This German engineered stallion stirs a lot of emotions and passions every time I drive her. She is a fun to drive appreciating in value classic that should be seriously considered in your garage or collection. All the cars in my collection will be sold in “as is condition” as they are not in perfect condition and are older classic vehicles. Please ask all questions before bidding or making a serious offer. I will be happy to answer all questions or take additional pictures as needed or if you prefer to arrange an inspection please contact me and I will try to accommodate request ASAP, sometimes with a little delay as I work in surgery. I also will try to be of reasonable help if you need to store her for a short time while you arrange to come drive her home to any state in the country or ship her back home. Please check my 100% feedback as I have been honest in all my transactions. The cars will be listed locally as well. Thank you for your consideration as a serious buyer. Mike
