1995 BMW R-Series

Rare white 1995 R1100GS with ABS. I purchased this years ago with only 5,000 miles on it and have had it ever since. It has always been stored in my heated garage and is in excellent condition. I currently have six bikes and this was always my flagship bike. It is big and roomy and was great for 2-up riding, but I find that at 63 years old and a wife with a bad back, this bike is seldom used - It's time to find it a new home. Extras include: BMW system bags, BMW top trunk, Corbin seat with white piping and removable backrest, Throttlemeister friction cruise control, BMW hand guards, Engine guards (I hate to call them crash guards) from Germany, Centech fuse panel w/switched relay for additional accessories, Techlusion fuel injection adjustment which eliminates the famous BMW surging, and the BMW updated check valve in the left side cam chain tensioner which prevents oil pressure leak down when engine is shut off (this was a change BMW made in 2005) and driver foot peg lowering kit. This bike had one of the original plastic fuel tanks on it when purchased, but was replaced with an R1150GS metal tank because of paint that bubbled due to the Ethanol in our gas. Also includes: shop manual, 2 auto type accessory outlets (1 on handlebar and 1 on instrument panel), BMW and SAE type accessory plug for battery charger or heated clothing. It currently has Metzler Marathon ME88 touring tires mounted because I found they offer great mileage and I seldom took this on dirt or gravel roads. Last week I changed all oils - engine, transmission and final drive - all synthetic oils used. I have records of all service performed. Bike is located in the Pittsburgh area of Western PA.
