For sale is my dads 1928 ford 2 dr woody in very nice condition.Time to sell my dads toy because my mom has no interest in car shows any more so it has to go so someone else can enjoy it. It is a 1928 model a 2 door woody and spent most of its life in california. I believe it was updated in the mid 2000s. Ill start with the drive train, it is a 350 chevy with a holley alum. intake, elderbrock carb, stainless headers, small cam , runs nice and stays cool. Turbo 400 tranny. 9 inch ford rear end with coil overs.It has model a style boxed frame rails that are powder coated. Dropped front axle.Front disc brakes. It stays cool from a walker radiator and electric fan. duel gas tanks. Now for the body , it has a 2 1/2 inch chopped top which as you can see in the photos that is very tasteful , wood is very nice. Hood , cowl, splash aprons, etc. are steel and rock solid.Running boards are steel. Fenders are glass. Windshield opens and closes correctly. The door windows are glass and power, the rear quarter windows and rear window are tinted plexi glass.the grill, bumpers and all chrome is in excellent condition.The top is excellent, with surf board and rack.Very cool harley davidson tombstone taillights .New wiring harness.All lights work correctly , horn does not work. Paint is driver quality, could use a wet sand and buff. Shines like crazy!Wheels are torq thrusts 14"(195/70/14) in the front and 15" in the back 225/70/15).It has a very nice black LEATHER interior.( real deal)Grant steering wheel. Power windows, tilt steering, moon guages but the speedo does not work. (we never tried to fix it)Battery is under the pass seat.The only way to get into this beauty is to reach in and open from the inside, no big deal.You could hook up something to the power windows.There is lots of money and love in this vehicle . This a very nice woody thats very affordable and tons of fun.Includes car cover and surf board.Remember its a hot rod so you may have to work out a couple of little things. New York does not have a title prior to 1973 so it will be sold with a transferable registration and a bill of sale.Car is in my dads name.
