Up for bid is a 1996 Ford Ranger XLT long bed in good condition. I've owned this vehicle for 15 years and while it has high miles, everything works as it should. Repainted with standard color one year ago by MAACO. Paint shines but it has some dings and scratches here and there and a scrape on the right rear fender (upper area/see photo) where a utility pole failed to see me as I was backing out some place. The bed is in good shape and has a Linex sprayed-in bed liner. There is no rust on any of the body panels. The vehicle has been maintained and is completely stock except for the updated JVC stereo installed that includes Bluetooth and line-in capabilities. The rear tires were installed new 3 months ago. Front tires have a decent amount of tread. The original spare is included and its only been used a few times temporarily. Wheels are alloy, standard for this model and are in good shape but not pristine. The parking brake works fine, but is missing the rubber pedal cover. Starts right up and shifts smoothly. Air conditioner works fine and blows cold. This is a 4 cylinder, 2.3L engine with 5 speed manual transmission. The interior has new OEM style carpet installed a few months ago. The seats show some wear and discoloration and there is a small tear on the driver's side seat (see photo). The seat OEM seat console works but fits loosely and the lid catch no longer functions. I use an elastic band to keep it closed. The dome light works but is missing the cover. I have a replacement dome light fixture from a Ford Explorer that comes with the truck. The headliner is properly in place and does not sag, but it has nicks and marks on it gathered over the years. Also included is a folding Tonneau cover. It clamps on and can be easily removed and stored. I've replaced many parts over the years including the clutch, fly wheel, starter, water pump, alternator, battery, exhaust system and catalytic converter, timing belt etc. Simply put; I've maintained and serviced the vehicle, but it is sold as-is.
