1931 Model “A” Ford Late 1931 Slant windshield Sedan w/ indented firewall recently built, body off, frame up, not a bolt or washer missed. 850 miles since completed Highly modified 2.3 liter Ford engine w/ C4 automatic transmission (Ford Ranger drive train) both rebuilt prior to installation Hydraulic brakes (1948 Ford) with a vacuum booster stops like a modern car F100 steering much easier to turn Horn and lights work like an original car modern tube shocks halogen headlights with LED stop & tail lights A/C cold air full set of lighted gauges & color backup camera turn signals using original spark control lever fast idle using original throttle control lever 16" Yokohama radial tires 195-85-R16 new Interior including carpets everything done complete insulation top bottom & sides beatiful woodgrain all under car parts and frame are powder coated car painted with best PPG epoxy primer and paint Maroon paint was over $800.00 per gallon Bottom of car body coated in undercoating to prevent rust rebuilt radiator electric fan 12 volt alternator new battery interior lights running lights power point for GPS charger etc. All new safety glass Front tool box mounted behind the bumper I wanted to build a car that looks pretty much like a stock "A" model but needed as little maintenance as possible so I could drive anywhere at highway speed without worry. I have invested a lot of time and money in this car and it shows. It drives like a dream and really looks great. There are many modified features on this car, far too many to list. This was a very nice original car showing only 52,000 miles on the odometer. I repaired one small rust spot with a new patch and that was all it needed. The frame and body were straight and all the doors fit like a glove. This was as nice a car as you will ever find to start a build. This is a one of a kind car you can own for half what it cost to build. You can drive it antwhere without worry and it looks as good as it drives.
