This vehicle has a blown engine and will not drive. It is only being sold for parts or repair. This Expedition has been the greatest all round vehicle that I have ever owned. If engine replacement by dealer was not so expensive, I would gladly keep and repair. It is a 2 owner vehicle that we purchased at 25k miles. The only repair that it has ever had was a new water pump at 100k. Never had any transmission problems. The day after I was making preparations to install a new stereo head unit and speakers, the engine threw an internal part out of the block on my way to get kids from school. We had it towed to dealer and service department noted this and did not evaluate any further-simply telling us "It needs a new engine". When I turn the ignition now, it will fire up and crank the cam with a great clattering noise for about 3-4 revolutions and quit. The stereo head unit has been pulled and the interior rear passenger side panels have been taken down (in preparation for a new subwoofer install), and the drivers power seat does not work. Otherwise the car is in the expected condition for its age. Good leather seats. Good tires and rims. Typical body dings. If nobody wants it for parts, my next call is the scrap yard...but what a waste. Again, this car will not drive. It will roll. You must pick up locally at Ballentine Ford 1305 Rte 72 Greenwood, SC 29649. Do not call them, they may ask you to pay the towing bill :] Auction is no reserve starting at $100. Do not contact me with questions about specific problem with the engine...because hey man...I don't know.
