A beautiful 1950 Chevrolet 3100 half ton 5 window pickup, engine upgraded to a 305ci V8 but retains the 3 speed manual column shift transmission. This is a very original and virtually rust free family owned truck that has lived it's entire life in Texas. The truck has been repainted to a custom gold over copper scheme that is very nice but driver quality. Most components appear to be original, nice glass, brakes just rebuilt, good rubber. This is the desirable 5 window version of the 50's series Chevy trucks that have been doing exceptionally well on the classic car auction circuit. It would be easy to go back to the original 6 cylinder engine and have a correct straight original truck worth considerably more than the reserve price.
