The previous owner of this S Targa occasionally drove the car to “exercise” the matching numbers engine. He had intentions of restoring the car, but they never came to fruition. This is a matching numbers car, and the Kardex data can be found below. The car has good floors; however there is some rust present in the front end of the car. Most of the rust is located around front pan and inner fender aprons. The cars troublesome MFI injection has been replaced with Webers, and the body has had a color change (originally Silbermetalic). This 911S is also equipped with air conditioning. The Targa’s interior was originally equipped with Sport Seats, but they are no longer present. There are a few additional parts included in the sale of this 911S, a rear decklid, rear center bumper, passenger side fender, OEM steering wheel, bumper and rocker trim, front air dam, MFI air cleaner, toolkit, and a replacement front control arm pan.
