This is a very rare Suzuki 1982 GS1000SZ Katana with a recently completed full restoration and upgrade. Project was completed with the intent of retaining as much of the original bike with upgrades to wheels ,brakes, suspension and engine performance to match current sportbike performance. All replaced original GS1000SZ components including suspension,wheels ,brakes, swingarm, cylinder and pistons were retained to return bike to stock and are included in sale The chassis was stripped and powder coated to original silver finish, Forks, wheels, and brakes are from late model GSXR. Swingarm is box section aluminum by Trac Dynamics. Bodywork is either new OEM or fully refinished to original factory color and finish. Engine received complete rebuild freshen up of all internals with addition of Wiseco 1260cc pistons and Orient Express big block. Engine cases were refinished to new condition appearance with all new exterior engine covers and hardware. The original carburetors, airbox and black chrome exhaust were also retained to maintain street drive-ability, sound level and original appearance.
