Then, after carefully reading the ad, please e-mail any questions you may have and I will gladly answer them. I am a used car dealer located approx. 5 minutes West of Baton Rouge in Port Allen, La. Up for auction is this beautiful 2002 Chevrolet Corvette. The car was in an acciednt and has a reconstructed title. I purchased the car about a year ago to repair the right front and rear fender and then resell the car. However, I liked it too much to sell it and have been driving it for the last year. It is an awesome car and very fun to drive. Unfortunately, problems with my left knee makes it painful for me to clutch and I have to let it go. The car comes with a 405 HP stock engine and 6 speed manual transmission. It runs and drives like new. It has no mechanical issues whatsoever. The engine compartment is clean. It sounds just as good as it looks. The interior is in very good condition. It has leather seats with the Z06 stitching in head rests. Factory Z06 carpetted floor mats. It has power windows, power locks, power seats, tilt, cruise, C/D, heads up display, and ice cold A/C. No tears in seats, and no stains on carpet. All options work properly. The exterior is in very good condition as well. The body lines are straight. There are a couple of scratches/scuffs, on the passenger's door and one scuff near passenger roof (all pictured). The front and rear fender have been repainted on this side as well. The tires are in good shape. They are 505 Nino street and drag tires. Also have a spare tire and rim for winning bidder. It is equipped with dual exhaust. It has custom chrome rims mounted on the 17 inch front and 18 inch rear tires. I ran the car at State capitol dragway once just to try it out. It recorded a time of 12.3 seconds in the quarter mile. So, it is very fast, but it's also just a great cruiser. The fuel economy on the highway is good. Overall, a very nice car.
