Up for NO RESERVE auction is this 1968 Pontiac Firebird convertible This car was disassembled back in 1990 and stored in the loft of a heated barn since then by a body shop owner who had purchased it in 1987 He never got around to restoring his high school ride I will try to describe this car to the best of my ability, How ever I am not a expert on vintage muscle cars so this is what it is! For starters there are multiple parts that he collected as well as the original parts removed As you can see by the photo's the floor pan is in need of repair but not completely shot very repairable along with trunk Here are a list of some of the items it has and does not have I was told it was originally a 6 cylinder car with power top the original motor is not with it, but does have a 455 block that is oiled/greased up complete less heads and up, plus some misc. BS It has what I was told was a good turbo 400 transmission I looks like the original seats and interior panels trim etc. has the 400 hood and loose tachometer, missing right front fender There are several duplicate parts that he collected such as trim pieces, core supports, bumpers,wiring harness bezels one new one still in box. FROM ALL THE EMAIL QUESTIONS ADDITION INFO: YES I HAVE A CLEAR INDIANA TITLE FROM 1987 YES THE FRAME RAILS LOOK GOOD THE REAR QUARTERS AND ROCKERS LOOK GOOD, HOWEVER I DID NOT REMOVE THE PAINT TO SEE IF AND/OR HOW MUCH BONDO WAS DONE PRIOR TO 1990 .. THE CAR HAS NOT BEEN TOUCHED SINCE THEN I DID SEE SOME CRACKED PAINT/BONDO BEHIND THE REAR WHEEL WELL THE DOORS AND REAR WINDOW GLASS ARE STILL IN PLACE WITH THE TRACKS AND LOOK GOOD AND OPERATIONAL THERE IS NO RIGHT SIDE FRONT FENDER OR INNER FENDER...THE LEFT SIDE FENDER AND INNER ARE THERE AND JUST SITTING IN PLACE THERE IS NO WINDSHIELD I DO HAVE A COUPLE PHOTOS OF THE FRAME RAILS,ROCKER AND TTILE I CAN EMAIL YOU IF YOU LIKE I HAVE CAREFULLY PLACED ALL THE ITEMS BACK IN THE CAR EXCEPT THE HOOD, FRONT SEATS, BLOCK AND TRANSSMISSION IT WILL ROLL RIGHT UP ON A TRAILER ALSO I WAS INFORMED FROM OUR NEIGHBORS TO THE NORTH (CANADA) A TRUE NO RESERVE AUCTION STARTS @ $0.1 SORRY IT I DID NOT SEE THAT IN THE RULE BOOK!
