This is a well maintained 1996 Jeep Cherokee with the bulletproof inline-6, probably the most durable engine ever put in an American car. Recent maintenance items over the last two years include the following: water pump and belt replaced, new radiator, battery replaced last year, almost new Yokohama Geolander tires, front and rear differentials packed. A/C and heat work, 4WD works. Cosmetically, it was painted at one point in its life and the paint job wasn't half bad. However I would describe the body as fair overall. The running lights on the bumper don't work. Interior is a little rough, there's a tear in the driver's seat but all in all not too bad. I have all the electric windows working, and the electric locks work in the front doors. I pulled the loom on the driver's side and rebuilt it, which as you should know is a weak point in these vehicles. Has a tow hitch and a 4-prong light adapter. This is a working vehicle; if you're looking for something to take to the prom, you're barking up the wrong tree. If you want something to take you hunting or fishing, jump all over this.
