This is an excellent running restoration project. This bike is a numbers matching 1979 Triumph TR7. There is a clear title for this motorcycle. We did the essentials to get this bike to start and run, however it would be best to fully restore this one down to the crank. Same old story, different bike. Somebody was going to “fix” this, but instead butchered the wiring and partially took it apart before abandoning it. We sorted the wiring to get spark, cleaned the carburetor, set the timing, and got it running again. All the parts pictured below will ship with this motorcycle. It’s not all there, but it is a good start. 1973 is a good year; it has the lowered seat height oil in frame, five speed gear box, and disc brake front end. Tigers are much easier to tune on, since they have a single carburetor versus the Bonneville’s dual carburetors. There is a video of the bike running below, it’s not tip top but it’s much better starting point than a bike in boxes. This could easily be restored to showroom condition, or constructed into some type of special. Sold as is.
