1966 Chevy Corvair Corsa Convertible "Original Arizona Car" Only 3100 Made" The American sport car built a second generation 1965-1969. The last one built 5/14/1969. This design was made with a fully independent rear suspension. The American made rear-mounted engine is powered by aluminum air-cooled 164 cu in, 140 hp, 6cyl. with 4- Individual Carburetors, 4-speed manual transmission, with dual exhaust. Flat engine, flat bottom rear vented keeps engine cool. The extra bottle of aqua cleaner, and wiper motor are mounted in the front spacious trunk compartment. The badge is 105, however this is a Corsa, the gauges, and the rear cove area painted that gray silver, which was another cosmetic distinguishing feature of the Corsa. That was Corsa exclusive. I believe it was a manufacturer error with the badge ID. Whatever it is, its nice, and still a collector car. The purchase of the car was in 2000 from estate sale. The vehicle is showed at local car shows, and wins most the time. The vehicle runs and looks in show condition, with minor work to be done to make this car perfect. The replacement of weather strip around the trunk area is needed. A few minor nicks on the nose, and the driver seat has a tear in the seam. Being in storage, and not driven all the time the seal gaskets needs to be replace. It's had been previous repainted. I've enjoyed this car, and hope you will too.
