Vehicle Detail
Up for sale today we have a 1965 Ford Falcon Futura. I recently bought this car and have done absolutely nothing to it, we're about to start a major home renovation and I will not have the time or space to work on the Falcon. I honestly don't know much about the car but I'm going to describe it as best as I can. All documentation for the car is in my name and it's ready to go to a good home and get the attention it deserves. This is a solid foundation to start with and you'll be impressed by the condition of all the trim molding on it. I'm a Pontiac guy but always liked Falcons as my father had one when I was a kid and I always wanted one. Early 1970's Ford 302 engine with an automatic transmission. Dual exhaust with factory manifolds & thrush mufflers. Very clean and straight body with an older paint job. The paint still shines okay however it does have some minor bubbling and blemishes/cracks. Solid fenders, doors, rockers, quarters, hood and trunk lid. Solid trunk pan and floors. There's a small line of rust on the rear passenger side in front of the back seat where it meets the floor pan. All the glass is clean and crack/chip free. All the trim is there and is straight and clean with very very minor dings on a couple of pieces. 15" American Racing wheels (One is off the car) which need to be polished (Two center caps are missing). The tires are mismatched and will need to be replaced as they're a little dry rotted . Rear bumper is okay but should be re-chromed to make it perfect. Front bumper and brackets are missing and the lower radiator support is slightly dented. The car starts, runs and shifts into gear.. I drove it out of the trailer up the block and into my driveway, it could use a tune-up as it was sitting a bit before I got it. The interior is clean and in good shape however the headliner is hanging in a few spots. The glove box is missing as well as the dash switches (Lights, wipers and cigarette lighter). The lights and other electric accessories are not wired up and do not work. The trunk lock is missing and I don't have keys for the door locks. The alternator is not hooked up and most of the wiring is long gone. The car does come with a new wiring harness which will need to be installed. In my eyes, this is an easy project car which you can restore as you drive it. As I mentioned, I have not driven the car much to really comment on how it runs but it does start and shift into gear as it should. I just want to get what I paid for the car and would love to see it go to a good home. Please ask as many questions as you'd like and also let me know if you need more pictures. I can take pictures of whatever you need to see. Please understand that I'm not forced to sell the car and will not give it away so please don't make any ridiculous offers. If the car does not sell, I'll put it in storage and work on it when time allows. A non-refundable $200 PayPal deposit is required within 24 hours of the vehicle being purchased. The remaining balance is to be made via cash or a cashiers check. I do not accept wire transfers or personal checks. The car will be released as soon as my back clears payment. This car is being sold "As Is" with no warranty. Good Luck and God Bless.
