Hello everyone, I am selling a 1996 Geo Metro LSI sedan. It has working AC and a good running 1.3 engine with an automatic transmission with power steering that works fine. The body is teal in color with some minor scuffs and dents as a 17 year car has but still very presentable. The rust is very minor for a car in the northeast with one hole that just started on the rocker panel on the drivers side rear size of a half dollar and a couple bubbles as shown in the pictures, also the frame where the control arms bolt to are excellent (sse pics). All the lights work as well as the accessories, the only thing is the radio it comes on loud and you have to play with the knob to get it to a comfortable level. The tires are nice with 7/32's on all 4 corners all the same tread. The front brake pads would need to be replaced very cheap for this car could do it if the final price is to my liking and the rear brake shoes are 3/32's. The exhaust is sound and solid. The windows and doors operate fine. The front end is tight no noises in the suspension. The engine leaks oil nothing to get excited about No puddles 1 or 2 drips when parked) it is the oil pressure sensor again cheap and easy replacement. About 1 hr of labor between pads and the pressure sensor, thats it. The interior is very clean for the age the seats and carpet very minor staining head liner at back and front need glued starting to come down and dash was painted black (i didnt do it). I bought this car about 11,000 miles ago and they told me that the starter, water pump, thermostat, timing belt and tensioners were all replaced. I have no documentation but parts appear relatively new (shiny). I have gotten 35 to 42 miles per gallon as i drove 110 miles a day to work with this car without a problem. It is inspected til august of 2013 and should pass with no problems just the pads need replaced. I bought another car as it was to small for me and a car seat for my daughter. Also brake lines and fuel lines look fine. No warning light or check engine light on. Id drive this car anywhere that is no lie. Oh also the rear seats fold down lots of room in the trunk with a spare and jack as they should be. I also have the owners manual with the warranty papers from when the car was new. This car came from south eastern pa im guessing thats why the body is in the shape it is. If reserve isn't met ill simply keep the car. Its not like it takes up a ton of space. lol. I put new brake pads on the car and replaced the oil pressure switch. I put an air hose again the old one and it was def leaking as oil seaped out of it.
