The fender had a small dent that was repaired. The car was wet sanded and polished at the same time as the repair. It sat in dry storage in Oklahoma City for thirty-one years. All new soft hoses, brake lines, fuel lines, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, brake shoes, new radiator and all new radiator hoses. It has a rebuilt carburator and ignition components. All fluids replaced. New battery. When retrieved from storage the seats had thick clear plastic covers which was common in the 50’s. We removed the covers and discovered that the seat coverings were original and absolutely like new. The interior is all original and in excellent condition. Original AM radio works after respectable warm up time. Engine starts and runs excellent and is whisper quit. Standard transmission with overdrive works perfectly and drive train has no howls or growls. New radial Tires. Car drives like a new 1955 Ford…a true time capsule.
