This Edsel was built in Canada at the Oakville plant in Ontario. It was sold new in Alaska. Has been in AZ. since 1963. Was opened by a lady that barely drove it until it quit running. This year it has had the motor removed and completly rebuilt, trans was serviced, new generator,,new starter,rebuilt wiper motor,new feul pump.power steering lines, front end aligned, brakes cleaned up. New battery, and a few more things i cant remember. Evan had motor painted like it should. And it runs perfect, with dual exhaust and rebuilt carb. The car has a lot of original paint, yet it has been painted in a few spots. Front left fender has a few small rust spots and has been repainted too. Other wise this car is solid as a rock, Paint has many chips here and there. But this car has not been detailed. With a good buff and a good cleaning it would really look nice. The car really drives well, but needs tires (old and dry). Also the push button's on steering wheel does not work. It was changed to a floor shift a loog time ago, but shifts fine. The interior is nice and original (Canadian).Glass is all good,and windows all work.all lights work. radio works, gauges work, speedo works, Chrome and trim are very nice.
