For sale is a 1970 Dodge Dart 340 Swinger purchased from a local estate sale. This car has been in storage since 1993, partially worked on but not completed. The car has its original fender tag with two broadcast sheets. The motor is matching number as is the transmission. The car also has a dealer installed under dash air conditioning. Included are many new parts listed below rebuilt engine and transmission. Total in receipts spent on this car Is over$ 7000.00 for parts and services, and that is in 1995-97, today that amount might be 20%-40% for the same items. But this car is being offered as a package everything goes to the buyer. Fender Tag The fender tag is on hand and reads the following: V5X Y05 END H51 M21 M43 N41 N95 R11 VIW C16 C55 F11 033 FY1 H6T5 FT6 416 114394 E55 D32 LM23 HOR 263789 Drive train Engine and transmission As mentioned the car retains its original matching number 340 motor. The engine was rebuilt by a very well-known engine builder in South Florida. The engine was dyno run and recorded a best of 346 HP @5000 RPM. The cam installed was a Comp 268H-10 .The engine was treated to all the normal rebuild task and balanced The engine is topped off with a Performer manifold but the original intake manifold goes with the car. Also an extra crank shaft, brand new headers and a set of Crane Roller Rockers will also go with the sale. Unfortunately the carburetor was not found. Also the original valve covers and air cleaner are included. The transmission was overhauled to stock specs. All receipts and documentation are included. Interior All the interior components come with the car .Original require new covers but are solid. Included are brand new seat covers from Legendary Interior, headliner, insulation, seat dividers. Door panels are original and are in good shape. Most of the interior plastic trim was redone by Just dashes (seat backs, Dash board, and kick panels). All dash chrome was redone by Mr.G’s and a gauges cluster was restored. Included is a molded carpet and several yards of matching carpet for the bottom of the center console Body The body is very straight and blocked sanded. The engine compartment was painted yellow as was the door panels, interior and trunk area. The floors are original and from my inspection only have surface corrosion. This car had a vinyl top (new material included) and the typical corner window frame rust was fixed but will need to be readdressed. The window frames look good with some surface corrosion to clean up. Wheel wells have minor rust spots but not through. The left rear valance corner was repaired but it will need to be readdressed also. The car comes with two sets of bumper that are a good driver quality and three sets of trim (roof, side, and window). Original glass is in good shape and complete. New Parts Included are all the following new parts from Year One in no particular order: Transmission mount, Bypass hose, Arm rest, Hood pin kit, window gasket, anti-freeze decal, emissions decal, rear stripe kit ,wiring strap kit, hood pin cable, door lock feral, turn signal lever, exhaust tip hanger, door handle gasket, hose clamp kit, body bumper kit, wiper seals, weather strip kit, mirror gasket, hood to cowl seal, trunk weather strip, upper radiator hose, washer jar, glass channel weather strip, column seal, window felt, washer pump hose kit, and trunk mat. Also all the removed parts and hardware. Car has all four of its original wheels and original poly Glass spare tire. All receipts to verify parts included.
