We have for sale this 1997 Ford F250 truck. This truck was purchased new by the City of Webster Groves Missouri and used in the fire department for a utility vehicle. This truck was lightly used for the fire department as a service vehicle for running dept errands and hauling surplus fire hose during annual hose testing. This truck is a very good running and driving vehicle with no known problems. This truck has been on a regular service interval through our city service center. This truck has normal wear and tear with some minor dents and scratches. There is no rust visible on the body. Paint is decent but does have some adhesive residue from decal which have been removed. Some of the paint on the painted bumpers has flaked off. The interior is decent, has small tears on drivers seat area. THIS TRUCK HAS ONLY 38,803 original miles! Runs and drives well. This is a basic truck with AM/FM stereo, air condition. Tires are fair/good. Please see pictures attached. This truck is being sold as is, with no warranty implied. THIS TRUCK IS A 1997 MODEL (NOT 1996)On Mar-18-13 at 18:18:16 PDT, seller added the following information: There has been some concern about the reported accident in 2002. No one throughout the fire dept could recall this vehicle every being in an accident. So after some investigation through the archives within the police dept reporting we were able to find a report of an accident where the vehicle was in slow moving traffic and struck in the rear by another vehicle. No damage occurred to the truck. We do have a copy of the report to verify. This truck has never been in a body shop, or had any collision repair.
