This is a true Southern hearse too which means it has NO RUST OR ROT. It's led a pampered life under a storage siding out of the weather so even the vinyl coach roof is in great shape with no rips or tears. With only 55k miles, it's barely broken-in! Don't let the Northstar engine worry you. They do have a well-earned reputation for reliability issues once they reach a certain age, but don't worry because we've already taken care of them! We noticed the coolant was a little low so we had it checked and ended up having the entire engine gone through by the head mechanic at the local Cadillac dealer. Nearly $3000 later (at our discount price), it has been fully resealed plus it has new headgaskets, new time-serts, new water pump, new radiator, etc. What happens is as they age the head bolts pull loose from the threads in the block and eventually the headgasket starts leaking. If you buy a coach with the Northstar engine no matter what mileage it is only a matter of "when" not "if" you will experience these same problems! With these new timeserts installed, that can never happen again! Now you will enjoy all the power smoothness of the Northstar engine plus it is now rock-solid dependable and ready to be driven ANYWHERE. We wouldn't hesitate to get in this coach and drive it any place you might need to go. We've had our mechanic go over everything to make sure it's in proper working order. There are no warning or service lights lit on the dash. The tires have plenty of tread & the coach stops smoothly at any speed. He charges $1/mile for cars, $1.25/mile for light trucks and SUVs, and $1.50/mile for heavy-duty trucks and RVs. His charge is non-negotiable and must be paid separately. If you prefer to fly in & drive home we'll be glad to pick you up at Jackson Internation Airport ("JAN"), the local Greyhound station, or the Amtrak Depot. Our business hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday (CST). Please arrange your flight times accordingly. We are more than happy to provide free pickup during normal business hours. We no longer will deliver vehicles after-hours or on weekends. Occasionally things pop up like a blown fuse or a headlight going out and after hours a mechanic isn't there to fix it. We will store your vehicle up to 90 days free, however you must provide full coverage insurance. We will not be responsible for damage or theft while in storage here.
