Super fun car! I bought this a little over three years ago from an east coast classic car dealer. It was on consignment from the original female owner. I had the tranny and coolant flushed as well as the platinum plugs changed at 100k. Top is about 2 years old as are tires. Tires are worn evenly and about 50% tread left. They are summer tires only as the car is not used during winter (for obvious reasons!). Only reason I'm selling is because my girls just don't fit very well in the back seats anymore. We all love the car, but now that my older girl is reaching amazon status, it just ain't happenin'. Plus, we could use the garage space for all the other tools and toys piling up. Mechanically, it's in great shape. Cosmetically, it's about a C+ as paint has a few blemishes and the carpet/upholstery need a good shampooing. All gauges and options work perfectly as they should. The new factory top could use to be adjusted about a half an inch on the driver's side as the window catches it a bit if in the full upright position. Stereo was installed locally by Urban Tanks and sounds terrific, especially with the Infinity subwoofer in the trunk. Brakes are good, but battery is starting to get weak. I had to jump it when I took it out of storage last week. It has the back boot cover for when the top is down but I never used it as I always put the top up for security when we're out. I always use MOBIL1 and it's about do for the next change. I am a 45 year old Police Officer and I've cared well for this car. I live about an hour from both O'Hare and Midway airports and can meet you there with the car if you're the winning bidder. I only ask for a $500 deposit prior to delivery as I don't want to schlep all the way to the airport to find that the "alleged" buyer flaked out and I blew a day off. Cash only for remainder of transaction as I have seen too many check frauds in my career. Sorry for any inconvenience.
