This is a great restoration or rat rod Campmobile project. This is a one family owner Kombi up to the point that I rescued it from under a tree in 2011. This Kombi starts and runs, drove it home last weekend when it was nice. It is rusty on the body panels. The ribs / chassis are solid. The front axel is solid. The doors are rusty. The door opening doglegs are rusty and have been fiberglass patched but not very well and not by me. I have several totes of extra parts, manuals, some interior parts. Sold strictly “As Is”. Starts Runs and Drives. The speedo bounces around. It starts promptly if it has been run recently. It argues with you and asks for some starter fluid if it has sat for awhile. The horn does not work. All of the lights do not work. The interior light works. It has 3 nice, load rated Michelins on it and one old rotten tire. I have not tried the fresh water sink and storage tank. I have not tried the electrical connecting on the street side hookup. The pop up tent has some holes in it. It still has the step stool.
